CARL DICK DIES AT HOME IN EBENSBERG
Succumbs to Pneumonia Three Months After Mother; Brother recovering
from Illness

EBENSBURG, April 22, - Carl DICK, aged 40 years, of Julian street,
Center Ward, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of his
father, Attorney Thomas W. DICK. His death was due to an attack of
pulmonary pneumonia, following a brief illness. Mr. DICK was taken ill
one week ago today, suffering an attack of grip, which later developed
into pneumonia.

The deceased was born here in January 1878. He was unmarried and was a
member of the firm of T. W. DICK & Son, insurance agents. Mr. DICK was
a member of Highland Lodge L.O.O.F., this place and Speer Orr Camp,
Sons of Veterans, Johnstown. The deceased is survived by his father,
two brothers - George K. of Culbertson, Mont.; James S. DICK, married,
and who is now confined to his residence on McDonald Heights,
suffering from an attack of pneumonia; one sister, Mrs. Madge BOWMAN,
of New Florence. His mother, Mrs. Lucy KERNS DICK, died here last
January, having been found dead in bed.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from
the Presbyterian Church, of which the deceased was a member. The
services will be conducted by B. F. Heany, pastor of the
church. Interment will be made in the Lloyd Cemetery.
