Obviously either the date recorded here or John's date of birth found on his death record is incorrect by a few days. But I think they are close enough to identify John as the son of this couple. See the notes for his parents.

His death record gave an exact date of 6 Dec 1846. His censuses usually pointed to about 1850. He was baptized Dec 3, 1846, according to the parish record.

living in Collinwood when their son William Francis was born.
