Narrative
William, age 13, was attending school in 1829, along with his brother
James. He is later listed as doing road work in 1858 with three of his
brothers.[19] He is not on the transcription of the 1861 Census of Five
Islands.
There is a William and Hannah (Johnson) Aylward living in Lowell, Mass.,
from at least 1870 until at least William's death in 1884. William's age and
information match the son of James and Mary (Polly) Aylward. On the other
hand, Ancestors of Carol and Martti Kajorinne, at http://my.tbaytel.net/martti/
says William was born in 1823 and died after 1891.
