Narrative
Eleanor was one of ten people saved from drowning in the bay by a
Robert Kerr. A boat returning from Windsor capsized near the five
islands with nineteen on board. Nine lost their lives. No year
was given for the incident.
According to http://my.tbaytel.net/martti/, Eleanor was married on 25 Jul 1824,
to John King, who was born 12 Nov 1794 in Mt. Pleasant, Cumberland Co., NS,
and died there 26 Jul 1882.
