STUARTS DRAFT - Frank Henry Leibfreid, 80, of 728 Cold Springs Road, died Friday morning (Jan. 18, 2002) at his residence.
He was born March 25, 1921, in Johnstown, Pa., a son of the late Ralph and Eleanor Hofmann Leibfreid.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 340. He enjoyed gardening and was a jack of all trades.
Mr. Leibfreid was retired from Pennsylvania Electric Co. and was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Russell, Charles, Pershing and Robert Leibfreid; and a sister, Eleanor Rowzer.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Gonsman Leibfreid; one son, Daniel F. Leibfreid and his wife, Tonya, of Stuarts Draft; two daughters, Deborah A. Ritchey and her husband, Timothy, of Barboursville, and Cynthia D. Mayo and her husband, Douglas, of Stuarts Draft; one sister, Marguerite Rowzer of Bedford, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Clairissa Stephenson and Dakota Mayo.
A service will be conducted at 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Stuarts Draft chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service ... burial following in Calvary United Methodist Church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be fellow members of the American Legion Post 340.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reynolds Funeral Service of Stuarts Draft.
