Regarding Celia Anthus Kiel's middle name:
The name "Anthus" has shown up on the Internet as a first, middle and last name. As a last name it was in a list of people giving Germany as their place of origin. It is also Greek for "flower". It combines with prefixes to form words like agapanthus, amaranthus, chrysanthus, and chrysanthemum. It is also the genus name for the group of birds called pipits and the name of a female in Greek mythology.

Celia Clossin is said to be on her sister Eckie Kiel Hamilton's application for a widow's pension, which would have been filed from Pittsburgh. This would place her in Pittsburgh by 1898.

In 1900 Celia Clossin was in the 17th ward of Pittsburgh with her two youngest children at home. She said she had five children and all were alive. She is said to be in Pittsburgh in 1910, near Eckie and another sister, Emma Spielman, but she hasn't been found on this census. In 1920 she was living with her daughter Carrie Gantt at 1276th, in Aspinwall Boro, Allegheny Co.
